Artist Bio
Artist, Singer/Songwriter & Vocal coach
Send e-mailChristina Kairouz is an artist, singer/songwriter and vocal coach who discovered her talent as little as the age of 3; taking after her father. Her first audience consisted of her parents enjoying her far from shy uttering of notes in her little school uniform, her big bright eyes and bigger dreams.
Growing up in a multicultural environment where East meets West, she was subject to various genres of music, each with its own advocates, from Pop, Jazz, Soul, Rap, Blues, to Oriental, traditional Lebanese Folk & Middle Eastern music, as well as Byzantine and Maronite Hymns.
This intertwining of cultures fused by the creative fire within, helped create her unique cross-genre artistic identity, resulting in a wide spectrum of nuanced colors of Blues, Jazz, Oriental Jazz, and Arabic Indie/Underground tunes, choosing to meet her truth rather than meeting expectations.
Her voice is very much a reflection of her character; delicate, yet powerful. Her distinct timber and refined technique can never go unnoticed. A pure vessel of emotions, she is a voice that hits the right notes in the hearts and souls of her audience.
This is apparent in her soon to be released Arabic Underground Album, “Taht El Ared”.
With over 11 years of experience in the music industry, and a documented journey in several appearances in national & international media, she remains true to herself and her art. She’s had multiple performances in various countries around the world, such as London, Qatar, Dubai, Amsterdam, Montenegro, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, and counting...
Her generosity in her stage performances, is also mirrored in her passion to inspire others to reclaim their voice and find their artistic path through vocal coaching programs & workshops.
